This client is a high end seller in need of assistance with traffic to their site. During the research phase of the project, it was discovered the format of the site hierarchy was causing issues with the user’s journey getting the information they needed, causing massive drop off and disengagement,
Idea: Break down the current site to easily contained buckets and run some exercises and compare the site with similar higher end competitors. What are the competitors doing that is working? What can we do better?
Answer: From what was discovered in the resesarch, we reorganized and reoptimized the site for a smoother user journey. We had some organic card exercises throughout the company to get feedback on where users would perceive a page would live within a section and consolidated all that feedback with a simplified site hierarchy. We pushed the visual imagery to bring pizazz to an already gorgeous product line and offered a top of the line augmented reality tool for product personalization. We also used video in small amounts, just enough to delight the user.
